Chicken Cacciatore over Whole Wheat Pasta

Ingredients
1 lb boneless skinless Chicken Breast.5 cups chopped onion.5 cups green bell peppers1 can chopped tomatoes (1 1/4cup)1 sm can tomato sauce2 tbsp splenda1.5 tsp italian seasoning1/3 cup sliced ripe olivesfresh black pepper to taste 3 cups hot cooked whole wheat noodles
Directions
Cut chicken into manageable pieces, strips or cubes.

Spray large skillet with olive oil flavored cooking spray.

Saute Chicken Onion, and Green Pepper for 6 to 8 minutes.
Stir in drained tomatoes and tomatoe sauce.
Add Splenda, italian Seasoning, olives, and Black Pepper.
Mix well to combine, lower heat and simmer for 10 -15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
To serve six, cover 1/2 cup pasta with 2/3 cup sauce

    Needed a recipe with chicken, tomatoes and whole wheat pasta - cleaning up the pantry. This is as close as I could come. Didn't have the green pepper, which is not my favorite anyway, but really liked the addition of black olives. - 10/27/18
