Ingredients
Onions, raw, .5 cup, chopped (remove)Garlic, 1 clove (remove)Egg, fresh, 1 medium (remove)**Flax Seed Meal (ground flax), 2.5 tbsp (remove)Oats, 1 cup (remove)Ezekiel 4:9 Sprouted Grain Bread (1 slice), 3 serving (remove)Carrots, raw, 1 cup, grated (remove)Beans, black, 1 cup (remove)Parsley, .5 cup (remove)Almonds, .33 almond (remove)Sunflower Seeds, without salt, 4 oz (remove)*Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1 tbsp (remove)Soy sauce (tamari), 1 tbsp (remove)cumin seasoning, 1 tsp (remove)dried oregano, 1 tsp (remove)chili power, 1 tsp (remove)
Directions
Preheat oven 350 % if your baking. In a large skillet saute' onion garlic in 1/2 Tbsp oil, mix your flax and your egg together in a small bowl and set aside for at least 10 min while you prepare the rest of the ingredients. Place all ingredients ( except spices and salt) into a large mixing bowl and stir very well. Add seasoning salt to taste. With wet hand, shape dough into patties pack dough thightly as this will help it stick together. I made 15 3 inch patties. Cooking methods: your can fry the burgers in a little bit oil on a skillet over med heat about 5 min on each side. Or bake in oven for 25 to 30 min-- 15-17 min on both side until golden and crisp. Great for BBQ-- pre-bake burgers for about 15 min place on preheat grill until gold brown.
