Lentil Soup

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup lentils, rinsed2 stalks fresh celery, thinly sliced2 large fresh carrots, thinly sliced1 cup wild rice, cooked2 large cloves garlic, minced1 medium Yukon Gold potato1 tbsp chili paste1 tbsp tumeric powder1 tbsp curry powder1 tsp salt, to taste1tbsp black pepper1 bay leafbroth or water
Directions
Combine all ingredients in at least a 4 quart pot. Cover with broth or water. Simmer on low for at least one hour. Stir at least every 15 minutes. Soup will become thicker the longer it cooks. Can puree if you like.
