Chicken Primavera

Ingredients
1 tbsp. Olive Oil3/4 lbs. chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces1 cup broccoli florets1 cup thawed frozen peas1 carrot, cut into small pieces1 small onion, diced1 can chicken broth (14.5 oz. can)1/2 tsp. dried basil leavesdash pepper and salt1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese1 1/2 cup farfalle pasta (bowtie pasta) or rice
Directions
Heat oil in large skillet. Add chicken, cook and stir until browned on both sides. Add broccoli, peas and onion; cook and stir until vegetables are tender. Stir in broth, basil and salt and pepper. Bring to a boil. Meanwhile, prepare pasta according to package directions. Simmer 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in cheese and allow to melt. Serve hot.
