Black Beans and Tomatoes

1 small onion, finely diced1 can petitie cut diced tomatoes, NOT drained1 large clove garlic, minced2 teaspoons cumin2 teaspoons smoky paprikared pepper flakes to taste1 can (15-1/2 oz.) black beans, drained
Spray medium saucepan with nonstick spray. Saute onion over medium-high heat until translucent. Drain some of the juice from the tomatoes into the onions and continue to simmer a few minutes. Add the tomatoes, garlic, cumin, paprika, and red pepper flakes to taste. Stir to combine, Turn heat to med-low and simmer for about 8-10 minutes. Add black beans and cook until heated through. Delicious on rice!
