Ingredients
1/4 Cup Canola or Vegetable oilSalt to taste1 tsp Red Chili Powder1/4 Tsp. Turmeric1/2 Tsp. Fresh Root Ginger Paste1/2 Tsp. Fresh Garlic Paste1/2 Cup Chopped Onion2 Cups WaterDry or Fresh Cilantro for Garnish3 Green Chili Peppers splitDry Herbs (Basil, Star Anise)
Directions
In a saucepan, heat the oil and fry the Onions until transparent. Add the salt, chili powder, turmeric, ginger-garlic paste and dry herbs. Add the water and let it come to a boil. Simmer and reduce. Add the cilantro and and chili peppers and leave on stove for 2 minutes and remove.
