Homemade Cherry Apple Sauce

Fresh Apples, 5 cup, peeled, cored, and slicedWater, 8-10 cups( enough to cover and add more it necessary)Sweet cherries, 3 cups, pittedSugar if needed... 1 tsp at a time
1. Peel, core and slice apples.(the thickness of the apples will determine cooking time). and Pit Cherries...
2. Add Apples to large pot cover with water. Cook till apples start to get soft add cherries. Add water as cooking if needed to keep apples covered. Cook till easy to smash with spoon.
3. Remove from heat. Spoon into a fine mesh strainer. Smash till apple sauce it consistency you are looking for.
4. if not sweet enough add sugar 1 tsp at a time to liking. will change calorie by adding sugar.
Serving Size: makes 10-12 3-5 oz cups
