Grammy Joanne's Beef Stew

Ingredients
1 1/2 lb. Beef stew meat1 T. canola oil5 large carrots, cut into 3/4" chunks1 large Onion, cut into 8ths5 Potatoes, cut into 8ths1 stalk celery, cut into 3/4" chunks1 C. frozen Peas, thawed2 T. LIPTON, RECIPE SECRETS ONION, Mix, Dry3 Beef bouillon cubes1/2 C. Flour6 C. Water1 t. Sugar
Directions
In a large soup kettle, place oil, stew meat and onions. Saute till meat is browned and juices run clear. Add remaining ingredients (except for peas, flour and water), then add flour and toss to coat ingredients evenly with flour. Pour in water, add peas and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for two or three hours, or overnight in your crockpot. Serve with biscuits or French bread.
