Red cabbage and polish sausage

Ingredients
Chop cabbage and place in colander. Pour boiling water over cabbage. Add a sprinkle of red wine vinegar.Heat sausage in frying pan until just about cooked.Place 1T olive oil in large stock pot. Add cabbage. Chop apples (with skin) and place in with cabbage. Cut potatoes in half and add to cabbage. Squeeze lemon juice over cabbage. Stir. Add salt, pepper and 1/2 c wine. Cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes.Cut sausage in bite size pieces and add to cabbage, cook another 10-15 min.Enjoy.
