Directions
20-22 wonton wrappers (3.5 inch size) 4 oz ground pork (cold)1 egg1/2 onion (diced)1.5 tsp rice vinegar1 tsp sesame oil1 tsp soy sauce (reduced sodium)1/2 tsp salt4-5 carrot sticks (minced/brunoise)1 tsp minced ginger2 cloves garlic (diced)
Combine all filling ingredients (pork through garlic) using food processor. Be sure to pulse mixture, as turning on the food processor at full speed will cause the mixture to liquefy. Store mixture in fridge for at least 1 hour prior to cooking.
When ready to cook, place about 1/2 tbsp filling in each wonton wrapper. Use water to help seal edges into purse shape.
Cook wontons in a steamer for 5 minutes or until filling is cooked to proper meat temperature.
