Hazelnut and Chocolate Torte

250g roasted hazelnuts, roughly chopped250g dark chocolate bits1 tablespoon cocoa powder (unsweetened), sifted8 egg whites, at room temperature3/4 cup castor sugar1/4 cup plain flour300 ml double cream
Preheat oven to 180C. Grease and line a 26cm springform pan. Combine hazelnuts. choc bits and cocoa in a bowl. Using electric mixer, beat eggwhites until soft peaks form. Add sugar, a tablespoon at a time, beating well after each additions. Continue beating till thick and glossy. Using large metal spoon, gently fold in hazelnuts and flour. Spoon mixture into prepared pan, smooth top with back of spoon. Bake 35 - 40 minutes or till skewer inserted in middle comes out clean. Stand in pan for 15 minutes before turning onto wire rack. Serve with double cream.
