1 box Betty CrockerYellow Cake Mix8 T .Parkay, Light Original Spread Margarine2 lg. Eggs, fresh1/2 c. Flour, white1/4 c Pecans, .25 cup1/2 tsp. anise flavor
Preheat oven to 350º. Place a piece of parchment on a large cookie sheet.
Mix all ingred., adjusting flour as necessary. You want the dough to stick together but not be too soft and gooey.
Divide the batter in 1/2 and make 2 logs measuring about 2 to 2.5" by 12 by 1/2-3/4" thick squaring off edges.
Bake for 30 min or until pretty firm. Take out and let sit for 10 min. After 10 min. cut logs at an angle every 1/2- 3/4". Put back in oven for 10 more min. at 350º then turn oven off and let sit in oven for another 30 min.
Serving Size: 30 1/2" - 3/4" slices
