Oat Pecan Patties

4 1/2 cups water1/2 cup soy sauce1 tsp. garlic powder2 tsp. onion powder1 tsp. Colgin liquid smoke1 cup chopped pecans1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes1/4 cup raw sunflower seeds2 tsp. dried sweet basil1 tsp. ground coriander seed1 tsp. ground sage2 cups regular oats2 cups quick oats
Toast oats in a slow oven 250-275 degrees until golden. Bring all ingredients EXCEPT OATS to a slow boil on medium-low heat. Stir in oats and simmer one minute. Set aside to cool for 10 minutes with a cover on. This allows the oats to absorb the liquid. Spoon mixture into a 1/3 cup plastic measuring cup. Place on non-stick baking sheet. Tap measuring cup to release mixture. Bake at 350 F degrees for 15 minutes on each side.
