Ingredients
* kasha/buckwheat groats, 1 cup * Whole Wheat pasta/bow ties best, to taste, 4 cups used for nutrition calculation * Egg, fresh, 1 large * Onions, raw, 2 medium chopped * Butter, unsalted, .25 stick
Directions
toast buckwheat in pan, when dry stir in egg. Stir to coat, add 2 cups water and cover, simmering. Cook pasta, drain, and set aside. Fry chopped onions in butter in large skillet until thoroughly clear and golden. Add kasha and noodles, stir to combine.
