1 T. mustard (Dijon, or French whole grain)5 T. balsamic vinegar1 t. vegetable oilSalt and freshly ground pepper to tasteOptional:1 large garlic clove7-8 basil leavesIn a clean jar, add the mustard, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper. Add a large clove of garlic and/or basil leaves to marinate if desired. Cover the jar and shake well. Keep refrigerated.
