Ken2013 Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
4 tablespoons butter4 teaspoons salt3 pounds sirloin, cut into strips1/2 cup butter (1 stick)1 medium onion, chopped3/4 teaspoon garlic powder2 10-1/2 oz cans condensed Mushroom soup1 cup bouillon1/2 teaspoon Tabasco sauce2 pounds mushrooms, sliced
Directions
Combine flour and salt; sprinkle over meat. Melt butter in skillet; add onion and garlic powder. Cook until onion is tender, but not brown. Remove from skillet; add meat and brown well. Stir in soup, bouillon, Tabasco, and onion. Cover. Simmer 30 minutes, or until meat is tender. Add mushrooms. Cook 10 minutes. Add sour cream, if desired. Serve with noodles or rice.
