Ingredients
1 Boiled whole Chicken8 cups water1 onion chopped4 garlic cloves chopped4 tomatoes chopped 1 one inch ball Black Recado3tsp Salt 3 tsp black Pepper1 large Lime1 Habanero2 tspGround Spice6 Corn Tortilla4 Boiled eggs
Directions
Boil whole chicken in 8 cups of water.
Add Onions, Garlic, Bay leaves, ground spice, Salt and Black Pepper. boil to make stock.
When chicken is finished take out and leave stock boiling on low heat. Let chicken cool aside.
Add Tomatoes, black recado, Boiled eggs ( cut in 1/2 length way ), squeeze lime juice into stock let boil til soup turn black.
Shred the entire chicken clean from the bones.
Add shredded chicken to soup. Make meatballs from the ground beef and add to soup. Add habanero pepper to spice soup up.(optional)
Boil on med heat for 30 mins
