Apple Cranberry Crumb Pie

Ingredients
Filling:6 cups peeled thin sliced apples1/2 cup dried cranberries1/3 cups maple syrup1 tbsp lemon juice1-1/2 tsp vanilla flavor extract1/2 tsp ground cinnamon1/4 tsp ground nutmegPie:2 low fat graham cracker shells1 cup rolled oats3/4 cup brown sugar1/3 cup flour1 tsp cinnamon2-1/2 tsp light butter spread
Directions
Preheat oven to 375*F.
In large bowl: combine apples, cranberries, maple syrup, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg.
Spread evenly in pie shell.
Combine in another bowl: oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon together.
Add butter (softened) and stir, then spread evenly across pie
Bake 45 minutes.
Remove and let set for 30 minutes.

    The directions were unclear. And The 2 tsp of butter wasn't enough.. The top wasnt even wet. The bottom tasted good.. but something about uncooked oatmeal.. kinda ruined it. - 4/15/08

    I made this for Thanksgiving and it was a big hit! I also did the sugar free syrup substitution. Also, rather than make two pies, I put the extra apple mix and crumb topping to make a simple apple crisp the night before. YUMM! - 11/25/10
