1 1/4 cups Yellow Corn Meal1/4 cup melted unsalted butter1 cup all-purpose flour1 tablespoon baking powder1/2 cup sugar1/2 teaspoon salt1 cup milk1 egg
Preheat oven to 400F. Melt butter. Combine dry ingredients. Add milk, egg and melted butter and mix well. Combine dry and liquid ingredients in a bowl until slightly lumpy. Pour batter into a well-greased 8 inch square pan. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
For corn muffins: Pour batter into 12 greased or paper lined medium muffin cups. Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
