SWEET WATER BRAN MUFFINS3 c w.w. flour1 ˝ c bran1 ˝ tbsp baking powder˝ tbsp baking soda2 tbsp flax seed1 cup walnuts1 cup applesauce1 ˝ c brown sugar3 eggs1 ˝ c buttermilk (or milk with 1 tsp lemon juice)4 cups fruit (this recipe is 2 cups mashed banana and 2 cups diced apple)
Add wet to dry. Stir until moistened. Fill very full. Baste tops with honey (optional).
Bake 325F 30 min.
