Cream of Asparagus soup

Ingredients
1 tbs olive oil1 tsp butter1/2 lg onion1 bunch of Asparagus ( chopped)3-4 celery (chopped)6 cups of chicken broth (I used homemade)1/2 LemonDill1/4 Cup cream S&P to taste
Directions
Heat pot with oil/butter. Add onion until soft 3-4 mins, add celery or leaks and asparagus until soften 5-8 mins. Add garlic 1 min, add broth. simmer 30 mins. Use hand puree or pour 2 cups at a time in blender to puree. (carefull) if you fill it to high it will explode)
Pour back into pot add half of a lemon (juice only) and dills. Add cream and reheat 5mins

    Thanks for the great recipe! Wanted to try something new and this was great. Loved the flavor brought on by the leeks! I also used a lower fat cream with only 12% fat instead of whipping cream and it was perfect! - 9/22/14
