Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients
3 Red or Green Peppers (fresh)1 lb. ground turkey or chicken1 onion sliced thin1/2 cup brown rice1 29oz. can tomato puree2 Tbs. garlic powder1 tsp. salt1/2 tsp pepper
Directions
Par boil rice for 5 min. and rinse. Mix with ground meat, 1 tbs.garlic, salt and pepper. Cut peppers in half and clean out. Divide meat mixture into 6 balls and place inside each pepper half. Set in crock pot. Cover with sliced onions. Mix other tbs garlic with tomato puree and pour over stuffed peppers. If not completely covered, add a little water to cover. Cook in Slow cooker for 6 hrs.
