Malted Milk Chocolate Chippers

Ingredients
6 oz non-hydrogenated shortening2 oz butter1 cup packed brown sugar¼ cup water2 tbsp barley malt syrup1 tbsp vanilla½ cup malted milk powder1 tbsp ground chia seed1 cup flour1 cup malted barley flour1 tsp baking sodaPinch nutmeg½ tsp salt1 ½ cups semisweet miniature chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F and line 2 large baking sheets with parchment.
Beat together the first 8 ingredients in a large bowl.
Add flours, baking soda, nutmeg and salt.
Beat on low speed until well blended.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Drop dough by ¼ cupfuls onto baking sheets.
Bake for 13 minutes. Cool completely on pans.

Serving Size: makes 15 huge cookies
