This is what I make, but I use lite miracle whip, I add red cabbage for color and crushed pineapple instead of sugar. - 6/28/08

I didn't have onion so I put in a little onion powder and I also didn't have celery seed but I am amazed at how good this is. I will definitely make it again. - 7/2/08

This is the best coleslaw I have ever tried. I cut sugar in half and double the vinegar. This recipe is the recipe from now on. - 6/21/08

This was quick, easy and sooo tasty. I used celery salt (1tsp) instead of 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp celery seeds and it worked great. I will most definitely make this again. - 7/2/09

Made mine with lite mayo. Thought it was delish. I make cuts in the carrot then use a peeler to put slivers of carrot into mine instead of grated, chopped or diced carrot. - 7/1/09

I've always made mine w/light mayo & fat free sour cream.
It makes it very creamy and fewer calories. I also add 1/4 cup of both red & green peppers for added crunch & extra
veggies for those who WOULD NOT normaly eat them.
Give it a try. It's always a big hit at all the gatherings when I bring - 9/2/09

This recipe was great! My husband raved about it and told me "to make sure I wrote it down so we could have it again". Used even less mayo than called for and it was still creamy - 6/4/08

You say the coleslaw got spoiled by the next day. Hmmmm? Did you leave it out of the fridge? I've made this for over 30 years and it's never let me down. We eat it for several days with no problem. . .wonder what could have happened!! Z

Substituted Equal and light Mayo, used Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar. Absolutely delicious. Can't wait for my cabbage to be ready in the garden so I can have some to snack on every day. - 6/30/08
