Easy Chewy Granola Bars

Ingredients
3.5 cups Quick Oats1/2 cup ground flax meal1/2 cup brown sugar1/2 cup honey3/4 cups butter (melted)1.5 cups of "add ins" (I used ingredients below but you can switch it up and use what ever you want like dried fruit or different nuts, just remember to keep them around 1.5 cups or cars become less chewy & more dry)----3/4 cups Dark Chocolate chips----3/4 cups Chopped Pecans ( I used the cookie pieces size)*****This is my version of my mom's recipe. Her's called for 1 cups of brown sugar and 4 cups of oats. I took out 1/2 cup brown sugar to reduce sugar content a bit and then replaced a 1/2 cups of oats with a 1/2 cup of ground flax meal to and some more nutrients like fiber/protein.
Directions
--Mix all ingredients together and flatten them into a jelly roll pan

Preheat the oven to 350 Degrees and bake 18 to 25 minutes approx. (until top is golden)

Remove from oven and push down more on the bars with a spoon/spatula to make sure bars are nice a flat.

Let cool before you cut them into approx 18 bars.
