Asian Broccoli Slaw

12 oz package Broccoli Slaw3 medium green onions, sliced (white & green)1/4 cup butter1/2 cup slivered almonds2 Tablespoons sesame seeds2 pkg oriental ramen noodles (seasoning packets reserved)1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil1/4 cup cider vinegar2 Tblspn lite soy sauce1/3 cup sugar2 packets oriental noodle seasoning
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Melt the butter in a large pan or cookie sheet with sides
Crush up noodles and add to butter with almonds and sesame seeds
Toast for 10 minutes, stirring once half way until lightly browned
Meanwhile combine Broccoli slaw and sliced green onions
In another large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and seasoning packets.
Add the toasted noodle mixture to the dressing and stir to coat.
Mix the dressing and noodle mixture into the broccoli slaw, cover and chill.
Serving Size: makes 8 generous portions
