Chocolate Chip Cherry Oatmeal Cookies (Low fat and Low carb)

1 1/2 C. oats - not instant1 C whole wheat flour1 tsp baking powder1/2 tsp baking soda1/4 tsp salt1/4 C sugar1/2 C mashed banana or apple sauce (used banana this time)1 tbsp grapeseed oil1 egg1 tbsp vanilla1 C pitted cherries1/3 C Hersheys dark chocolate chips
Mix the dry and wet ingredients seperately, then combine them all together. Gently fold in cherries and chocolate chips. Drop onto parchment lined cookie sheet. You can place them close together as they don't expand very much while cooking. Makes 24 cookies.
Bake in a 350 F oven for 12 ~ 16 minutes.
