Excellent way to cook pork. The entire family from age 1 to 84 loved it! The pineapple and cranberry combo works great leaving just a hint of the onion soup mix. This is a keeper my niece and daughter asked for the recipe it was that good! - 9/27/09

I wasn't able to get dried cranberries so I used canned cranberries. It turned out good, but not my favorite. Will use pork chops next time. - 5/17/10

Excellent flavor - I will definitely make this again. I added a very small amount of walnuts. Also -my house got crazy and I forgot to do the flour/water step. It turned out great anyhow and I think I would "forget" this step next time too. :) - 1/18/09

It was o.k. I used a Pork Picnic roast and probably should have used a different cut. I also cooked it for 9 hours which may have been just a bit too long. I did not make the gravy. The flavor was good but I thought it could use some other spices to give it more zing. - 4/15/11

I'm going to make this tonight! I normally, when doing a roast, add a can of onion soup. This way will be less calories, I am sure. I will leave out the berries, though, and cook the roast in my pressure cooker. - 6/19/10

Really easy and yummy. Made a lot of sauce. We didn't bother with the flour to thicken and just used as is. Maybe we'll try to make a true gravy out of juices next time. Only problem - our crock pot cooked it in about half the time recommended even on slowest setting - had 1.5lbs pork shldr - 2/3/10

This had great flavor! I need to work on thickening the sauce, but that's my problem, not the recipe, lol. - 12/25/09

Pork was great it just fell off the bone! Next time I'm going to leave out the onion soup and reduce the sodium. That may also make the cranberry/pineapple sauce sweeter. - 10/26/09

I made this last night for dinner only I used sirloin pork chops. Loved the flavor of cranberries with pineapples but a little too many onions from the dry onion soup. I will definately make again but this time I will try with onion soup boulion if I can find it. - 4/10/09
