Homemade Pillsbury Crescent Rolls

2 1/4 tsp active dry yest1.4 C water, warm1/2 C milk, warm1 tbsp sugar2 C flour1/2 tsp Salt4 tbsp butter. room temp
In a large bowl mix yeast, water, milk and sugar. Let stand 5 minutes, until foamy.
Add flour and salt and mix well.
Cut butter into three pieces and drop dough in bowl and mix constantly.
Knead for 2 minutes.
Cover bowl and let rise 45 minutes in a warm place.
Preheat oven to 400f.
Turn risen dough onto lightly floured surface.
Press into circle, then using a rolling pin, roll it out more into an even 10" circle. Usepizza cutter or a knife and divide into 12 triangles.
Shape into crescent rolls.
Cover with dish towel and let rise for another 20 min.
Bake until golden brown 14 - 18 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before serving.
