Hamburger Soup

Ingredients
1.25 lbs lean ground beef1 medium onion, chopped3-4 large carrots, diced3-4 medium potatoes, diced32 oz can tomato juice1-2 bay leaves1/2 tsp basil1/2 tsp thyme2 tsp salt
Directions
Brown ground beef. Drain and rinse.

Saute onion in a large soup pot sprayed with Pam. Add remaining ingredients. Simmer 45 minutes or until vegetables are soft.

    Nice and easy. I did not use the thyme and my tomato juice was a jar of spaghetti sauce. I thought it was quite tasty. - 9/12/08
