Whole Wheat Waffles

Ingredients

2 eggs2 cups whole wheat organic flour1 3/4 cup whole milk1/4 cup coconut oil1/4 cup applesauce1 Tbsp. coconut palm sugar4 tsp baking powder1/4 tsp salt
Heat waffle iron.
Beat eggs in large bowl with hand mixer or whisk until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth.
Pour a scant 2/3 cup batter from cup or pitcher onto center of hot waffle iron. Close lid.
Bake about 5 mins or until steaming stops. Carefully remove waffle. Serve immediately with one of the serving suggestions listed above.
Repeat with remaining batter
