1 lb pinto beans soaked for 12 hours , rinsed1/2 large onion chopped or equal to 1 cupI tbsp low carb , no salt ketchup2 tsp onion powder2 tsp garlic powder3 tsp chopped garlic2 cups waterI tbsp sea saltI 16 oz jar salsa of your choice
Rinse and soak beans for at least 12 hours, put beans in crock-pot ,add salsa and jar full of water to crock-pot,add onion,ketchup,spices,salt. Let cook on high for at least 6 hours or 12 hours on low. Beans still had a slight bite while some were creamy. Can be cooked slightly longer if desired. Chopped ham is optional
