Pinto Bean Soup

Ingredients
1lb pinto beans1/4 c butter3 med onions2 garlic cloves6 c water2 bay leaves2 Tbls parsley1lb ham bonesaltpeppers
Directions
Soak beans overnight drain, saute butter, onions and garlic for 5 minutes, add all other ingredients and simmer for 4 hours. Add salt and pepper to taste
