Colin Acre's Beef Stroganoff

Ingredients
200g Beef Tenderloin, sliced bite size8oz can mushroom stems and pieces with water3 shallots, chopped1 medium onion, chopped3 tbsp butter1/4 c cooking sherry1/4 c beef broth1 c sour cream2 tsp salt1 tsp pepper1/4 tsp nutmeg5 c wide egg noodles
Directions
Melt butter and brown beef. Once browned saute onions and shallots. Add sherry and cook 2 minutes longer. Add broth, mushrooms, and nutmeg and cook 30 minutes. Place in bowl and mix in sour cream. Cook noodles and add to mixture.

Serving Size: makes 4 servings, divide equally, about 369g each
