Savory Blue Hake

Ingredients
1/2 large white onion, thinly sliced2 tbsp butter1 tsp dried dill weed1 tsp garlic powder1/2 tsp salt1/2 tsp pepper4 Schwans blue hake loins1/2 c dried bread crumbs1/2 c sharp cheddar cheese1/4 c butter
Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees F. In small skillet, saute onion slices in 2 tbsp butter; set aside. Spray 13x9 pan with nonstick cooking spray. In small bowl, mix dill weed, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Place fish in prepared pan; sprinkle evenly with herb mixture. Layer onions, crumbs and cheese over herbs. Cut butter into small pieces and sprinkle over top. Bake at 400 F for 25-30 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork. Makes 2-4 servings.
