Ham bone with meatWater (6 cups water)Canned diced Italian style tomatoes (28 oz)Sweet Onion sliced in narrow wedgesCelery diced 1-1/2 cups1 cup Dried Red LentilsGarlic Cloves 5-crushedOregano 1-1/2 tspParsely 1 tspZuccini quartered and slicedTobasco to taste
Place meaty ham bone into crockpot with water(approximately 1 cup of meat total). Cook two hours on high, add dried lentils, chopped celery, cut onion in half and slice vertically into thin wedges, oregano, parsley, crushed garlic cloves and canned tomotoes and cook on high for 3 more hours, add chopped zuccini and cook one more hour or till desired. remove ham bones and chop meat into small bite size pieces.
