Salmon Loaf

Ingredients
1 1-lb. can salmon (or three 6 1/2 oz cans grated tuna)3T butter (or substitute)3T floursalmon liquid plus sufficient milk to make 1 cup1/2 tsp. salt1/4 tsp. pepper2 T minced onion2 C bread cubes (about 4 slices) 1 egg, beaten
Directions
Drain canned salmon, saving liquid. For tuna use full cup of milk. Remove skin and bones from salmon. Make white sauce by blending butter or substitute with flour over medium heat. Add all liquids and cook, stirring frequently. Add seasonings. Mix sauce with salmon or tuna and remaining ingredients. Shape into loaf pan and bake uncovered.Bake one hour in a 350 degree preheated oven.
