Drop Biscuits from scratch

Ingredients
3 1/2 cups a/p flour6 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt 12 Tbsp shorteningMix dry ingredients, then cut in shortening. At this point, you can add whatever dry herbs you like as well as a bit of garlic powder if you like. Add in 2 cups of milk all at once. Mix until it starts to come together. drop by 1/4 cup ice cream scoop onto ungreased sheet pan lined with parchment paper.Bake in preheated 450* oven for about 15-20 minutes. Biscuits should be golden brown.
