Orecchiette, Broccolini & Chilli

140g dry orecchiette (or similar large pasta)250g broccolini (or broccoli), roughly chopped2 Tbl olive oil1/2 tsp (or to taste) chilli flakes3 garlic cloves, crushed45g fresh breadcrumbs40g fresh parmesan, finely grated
Bring a large saucepan of salted water the boil. Tip in the orecchiette and broccolini and cook the pasta until al dente. (The broccolini is better in this recipe "more cooked" than you may normally prefer).
While the pasta and vegetable is cooking heat 1 Tbl olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Stire in the chilli flakes, half the garlic and the breadcrumbs. Fry until the crumbs are golden. Transfer to a plate and drain a little on absorbent towels.
Heat the remaining oil and garlic over high heat for a few seconds. Add the drained pasta and broccolini and toss until well coated.
Serve scattered with the drained breadcrumbs and parmesan.
