Candice's Creamy Bacon Potato Soup

Ingredients
32 oz fat free chicken broth4 cups diced new potato, with skin.5 cup chopped onion.5 cup chopped carrot6 cloves garlic minced.5 tsp celery seed4 slices bacon cooked crisp2 cups fat free half and half.25 cup flour1 tsp salt.5 tsp pepper.5 tsp celery seed 1 tbsp butter
Directions
cook bacon in skillet, discard all but 1-2 tsp bacon grease. Saute onion carrot and garlic till transparent. place potato chicken broth, seasonings and vegetables in pot and cook till tender. In skillet melt 1 tbsp butter and add flour, cook for a minute, slowly add half and half stirring constantly. Once thickened add to soup base. Add crumbled bacon just before serving.
