Goan Banana Halwa

Ingredients
3 Ripe Bananas Medium Sized preferably Rajauri1/3 cup Sugar1 tbsp Gheefew strands of Saffron mixed in 1 tbsp water1 tspn cardamon powdered1 tbsp coconut powder
Directions
- cut the bananas into thick round pieces
- heat the ghee in a shallow pan
- place the pieces 1 by 1 in the pan and let them cook without burning them on each side.
- Once done, pour the safron water.
- Put the sugar and coconut powder and a cup of water
- cook till the sugar melts and become a thick syrup
- Sprinkle the cardamom powder and serve hot or cold
