Directions
Stewing steak, 1072 gram(s) cut into 1 inch pieces2 Tablespoon Corn Flour, seasoned with salt and pepper (optional )mxd herbs (Optional ) 2 Tablespoon Veg Oil Leeks, 200 grams washed and sliced Garlic, cloves 25 grams skinned left whole Red Wine, 175 mL Mushrooms, fresh, 250 grams, cleaned and sliced *Knorr Stock Pot Beef (28g as sold), dissolved into 1 pint hot water
Pre-Heat Slow Cooker
Heat oil in a large frying pan (I used a Large Wok )
Fry Leeks and Garlic until softened
Add beef and fry until browned,
Add Red Wine and Stock,
( I also added some mxd herbs) Optional
Black Pepper
Transfer to Slow Cooker
and cook for aprox 4/5 hours
add Mushrooms
and cook for a further 30mins +
divide into 8 Portions
Serving Size: Makes 8 servings
