Ingredients
3 Cups (Soaked 8 hours) Great Northern Beans 3 cups fresh kale, chopped3 stalks celery including tops, chopped1 large onion, chopped3 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped1/2 cup shredded carrots8 oz. diced cured ham1 tsp salt2 tsp black pepper4 cups chicken stock4 cups water1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Directions
drain liquid off the beans after soaking and place in large crock pot with all remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 1 hour then reduce to low for 5 hours.
