Split Pea Soup

Ingredients
Split Peas, 453 grams (1 pound bag)Water, tap, 10 cupsCarrots, raw, 1 cup, choppedCelery, raw, 1 cup, dicedRed Onion Raw 1 cup
Directions
Put all ingredients in crockpot. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook 10 hours on low. (I prefer to cook 5-6 on high and then turn to low).
