Sausage and Kale Soup

1 pound bulk hot or mild lean italian pork sausage1/4 cup chopped onion2 minced cloves of garlic1/2 teas. italian seasoning, crushed4 cups coarsely chopped kake leaves (or swiss chard)1 Roma tomato, chopped
In a Dutch oven cook sausage, onion and garlic until sausage is brown; drain off fat. Stir in broth and Italian seasoning. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Stir in kale; cook until just wilted. Stir in tomato, cook for 1 minute more.
