Chinese BBQ Seitan Ribs

Ingredients
16 oz seitan strips4 cloves garlic, minced4 Tbsp honey4 Tbsp mirin4 ketchup2 Tbsp hoisin sauce2 Tbsp tamari2 tsp sesame oil1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
Directions
Drain the seitan, squeeze the excess moisture out, and set aside.

Whisk together the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl. It should make about 1/2 cup. Pour about 1/4 cup or around half of the marinade into a smaller bowl. Add the seitan, stir, and let marinate for 30 minutes to an hour.

Preheat the oven to 375°F. Cover a baking sheet with foil and spray lightly. Spread the seitan and marinade out on a single layer. Bake 30 minutes, flipping every 10 minutes and brushing with some of the remaining marinade.

Turn the oven on to broil. Watch carefully because these can burn easily. Broil 1 minute until crispy and dark. Flip and broil another minute.
