Ingredients
Ingredients:2 cups dry split peas4 slices bacon, cooked and chopped1 cup chopped onion1 cup chopped celery with leaves1/4 tsp. pepper2 cups broth (I used vegetable broth)3 cups watersalt to taste (after it is cooked)
Directions
layer ingredients from bottom to top :peas, bacon, onions, celery, pepper broth, water. cook 8 hrs or until peas are tender. salt to taste
