Plantain chips

Ingredients
2 green plantainscanola oil for fryingsalt to taste
Directions
slice each plantain into about 8 3/4in pieces sprinkle with lemon juice so they don't brown. Heat oil in a frying pan. fry the plantains for about 3 minutes each side, then remove from the oil. once they cool a little, smash with a cup or knife, then return to the oil. fry for another 3 minutes. salt to taste
