MP - Creamed Broccoli Soup

Broccoli, fresh, 2 cup, chopped or diced*1 med yellow onion, .5 servingOlive Oil, 1 1tbspLemon juice, 1 tbsp(remove)1/4 tsp sea salt1/8 tsp garlic powderPINCH of cayene pepper
1. Steam onion & broccoli until bright green and tender when pierced with a fork. Reserve cooking water, rinse in cold water.
2. Process broccoli and onione with the cooking water until smooth in the food processor (add more purified water to get desirec consistency)
3. Add sea salt, garlic powder, olive oil, lemon juice and cayene pepper and pulse until mixed.
4. Pour into soup bowls and sprinkle red pepper flakes sparingly on the top of each bowl.
Serving Size: Makes 3 - 1 cup servings
