Fabulous Marshmallow Creme Fudge

1 stick Butter2 1/2 cups sugar1 can 12 oz. evaporated milk1 package 12 oz. semi sweet chocolate chips1 tsp Vanilla7 oz container marshmallow creme
Mix butter, sugar and evaporated milk into 2 1/2-3 quart saucepan/pot. Bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. While waiting for the mixture to boil, I get out my cake pan with lid, set the lid aside. Continue boiling and stirring mixture until candy turns caramel color (I sit on a stool in front of the stove because this takes quite a while). Remove from heat, add chocolate chips and vanilla, mix until well blended. Add marshmallow creme and mix well. Immediately spread into cake pan. Cool uncovered at room temperature, cut into 48 squares. Cover to keep from drying out or put into gift packages (cocoa cup of fudge is a great winter gift, can add a package of cocoa too).
